I was surprised to see that so many of our “no sex after marriage” friends are married men. It’s really not a big deal when we’re both on top of the world and aren’t having sex after marriage.
I think a lot of couples ride at opposite ends of the spectrum. For example, I know a man who rides his wife like a horse. He is probably a good rider and never has to work hard for his success. I never ride my husband like a horse. I ride him like a human.
You might want to rethink that. My husband, who rides his wife like a horse, sometimes rides me like a horse. And vice versa. No one needs to remind you that riding is like riding a horse.
I would be remiss if I didn’t point out that it’s a lot harder to ride a horse when you’re a human. But to be fair, when you’re riding a horse, the problem doesn’t lie with the horse, it lies with you. Which is why you see so many men riding horses like they’re riding bulls, while the women ride like they’re riding horses, and vice versa. Because when you’re riding a horse you can’t do anything but jump.
The best way to ride a horse is to jump. And when youre a man, you cant even jump! (Unless youre really, really good at it). And the same goes for riding a car. Sure, it can be fun to go fast and handle the wind. But a car, as you might guess, is a much, much better way to ride. I guess when I’m riding my husband I can’t do any of those things, and vice versa.
It’s true, we cant ride. Thats why we have to wait until we’re ready to ride. And we can wait a while, but the longer we wait, the harder it gets. A lot of riders wait for years before they actually try riding. Theres a lot of that waiting that goes on inside people’s heads. Well, I guess you can wait until you’re ready to ride. Maybe.
